Complex 15 blockhouse |

We are standing just inside the Complex 15 blockhouse, in what is known as the "general area". Directly in
front of us used to be small equipment and operations rooms. The first floor of the blockhouse is now used to store
documents.
The door at right reads "Caution: ladder exit. Watch your step". Behind this door, a ladder leads down to an
escape pit. The pit opens into a crawlspace tunnel that allows personnel to escape the blockhouse in case of
emergency if the main exit cannot be used. There is another escape pit directly behind us.
