Beach House
  The "Beach House" Zoom

South of Complex 41 sits an unremarkable two-story house. Known simply as the Beach House, it has served as a temporary place of rest for astronauts. Since the days of the Apollo project, astronauts have visited the Beach House to spend a few hours relaxing with their families before the mission.

The Beach House sits in a sea turtle nesting area. Signs on and around the house ask visitors to keep exterior lights off during nesting season (May 1 - October 31).
