Complex 31 area |
|
We are standing on top of the launch pad, looking toward the east. On the
ground we can see two widely-spaced rails extending out to the east. These rails
were used for a mobile weather cover (more on that later in the tour). The large
shed to the left is a support building. The building out in the distance to the
right of center is the optical alignment building for Complex 31, which
occupies the area to the north and east of us.
