Go back in time Complex 30 Zoom

Roughly west of Complex 5/6 is Complex 30, a now-deactivated site that was active in the 1960's. This two-pad launch complex was built in 1960 to support launches of Pershing I missiles. The first launch took place on February 25, 1960 from Pad A. Complex 30 supported 49 Pershing launches between 1960 and 1963 from various positions (Pershing missiles were launched from a mobile launcher). The final launch took place On April 25 1963. The Complex was dismantled in 1968.

Though Complex 30 no longer supports launch activities, facilities at the south edge of the Complex house the Fleet Ballistic Missile program.
