Navaho on the pad at Complex 9 Zoom
Navaho on the pad (rear view) Zoom

This is an unidentified Navaho on the launcher at Complex 9. The year is 1957. The red and white erector tower enclosing the missile (nicknamed the "Taj Mahal"), allows access to any part of the missile. Prior to launch, the erector tower will be lowered to the ground on the opposite side of the launch structure (as in the second photo).
